For the love of golf - go!

We played this golf course in jul 18. Very interesting course with a green on an island, big greens in general and a very deep rough. As mentioned in a previous review, big practise area. Golf course was in a very good condition, nicely kept. In a hot summer buggy is rather a must due to some hilly holes on the 2nd 9 and big distances between holes. There was also a couple of dog-legs, where it was quite hard to predict distance if you never played there before. During our round we have also experienced quite a lot of disturbance from the green keepers, as they wouldn’t stop their work on the greens when we played (we were 50 meters from the green). Next, they would be mowing the grass right next to us when we were putting - this happened on two holes. There also seems to be a restaurant, however it was closed when we played and there is only a vending machine in the club house, so if you’re looking to have a drink afterwards, you can have a bottle of coca-cola and that’s about it. The infrastructure in general was rather poor: they didn’t have any showers or changing rooms (which in 37 degrees without a buggy could be useful), but we would still recommend to play here, if you get the chance.

Place is great - but..

Great layout, greens very fast and in perfect condition, the fairways, which are not particularly long, could be better in some cases, good discounts - the really very long way between the 11 and the 12 has already been reported (but you are guided through the lanes 13-17 amply rewarded!).
For everyone who values the "trappings", I recommend waiting a year or two until the operator of the facility, Set Club, has completed its resort: the approach is more than confusing, plus paths and parking lots full of potholes, away from the parking lot very far to the non-existent clubhouse (back from the 18 even further), huge construction site with the corresponding noise, dust and dirt - after all, the crane can serve as a "target" for the green of the 11.
If that doesn't deter you, you can expect a friendly secretariat in the container and - as I said - an interesting, beautiful golf course!

18-hole course

Here at Albrecht falsely listed as a 9-hole course. Is actually an 18-hole course. Very varied with bunkers and an island green. Continue between 11 and 12. Continue from the parking lot to the clubhouse. Extremely beautiful greens even in winter. Winter green fee 52,00 EURO, WE 60,00 EURO.
Very relaxed atmosphere. Extensive exercise facilities with pitch, chip and bunker area. 2 big putting greens.
On the outskirts of Aix-en-Provence, but quiet in the woods.
It is definitely worth it.
