9 hole bead

Robert Trend Jones Course in Salzburg! This small 9-hole parkland course is located near the Red Bull Arena. Super design, ancient trees, charm and flair, almost a shame for the fast lap!
For 9 holes - 5 stars!

Nice place but:

Everything has already been written about the place. Really nice and well cared for. Excellent reception. Unfortunately not about the prices. In the last 2 years the prices have apparently increased significantly. 45 € green fee for 9 holes are simply too much. Unfortunately, the prices for drinks and food in the restaurant are completely excessive. 2x9 holes and then 2 drinks and 1 snack = € 120. It's a shame we would have liked to have played here more often.

Wonderful 9 hole course almost in the middle of Salzburg

Klessheim

Nice flat 9 hole course with quite varied tracks. Good condition, very nice reception. No start times - you go and join in, if you want to play. Trolleys partly new (Bagboy), but sometimes also old.
Very old trees on the course, sometimes tight and you have to play precise.
For a place more or less in the middle of the city really a recommendation, the proximity to the Salzburg airport is, as already described, of course, great for a quick round before departure...

Just enjoy and let it work

I just wanted to play fast 9 holes before my flight to Hamburg, catching rain and a short shower between lanes 2 and 3 did not stop me. Since I was on a business trip, I had to borrow clubs and trolley. No problem at all, the very friendly lady in the secretariat has done all the formalities quickly a Birdiebook was free and I could not even after 5 minutes to the tee, no start times, no stress, everything extremely, super relaxed.
I was a little surprised by this place. The fairways were wide and hard to miss, a beautiful old trees (a place with more than 60 years of tradition), fast greens (with which I stood by the lender putt a little on the hunt) and everything in a great condition, kudos to the Green keeper.
Overall, I felt the very flat lanes (I'm from Northern Germany quite different used) very good to play, no slopes. As already mentioned, there are fairly open fairways with wide land zones, with Birdiebook was also quickly seen where the best landing zones were. The greens are ambitiously defended by bunkers.
I enjoyed the place and since my flight to Hamburg was canceled, I had the opportunity to play the course again the next day. Again, I was greeted in the office very friendly and after the round I was recognized by a club member and friendly, very pleasant. I felt very comfortable around this place and enjoyed the great atmosphere.
Unfortunately, I had no time to test the food, but I think this is the club in no way.
Of course, a factory next door can bother me, but the farmer with the tractor in the country can easily hide me and enjoy this beautiful place near the city...
I forgive five out of five stars and hope to be able to use my own equipment soon.

Disappointing...

We played this place during a tournament and were more than disappointed.
The adjoining, woodworking company has partly robbed us, my eyes have burnt right through the massive exhaust air from this work, towards the end of the game I had also atembeschwerden. Add to this the incredible noise from this factory. For me incomprehensible, that one voluntarily spends his spare time in such an environment.
Basically, the course would be a nice 9-hole course with a beautiful tree, but due to the circumstances described above you go through stench and noise and is only happy when the round is finally over.

Age classics

Beautiful 9 hole course near the center, with dignified Clubhouse, friendly staff and a high gastronomic level.

Place with many old trees, nice fairways, but unfortunately only with 9 holes.

Hole 2, a par 3 hantiges struck me as the most beautiful hole is also the most difficult hole on the course.

Greens no longer very fast, but acceptable for the end of October.

Halfly but quite wet, unfortunately with large quantities of vegetation next to the fairways.

All in all, a nice place.

Very nice place with friendly staff

I almost did not play the course because of the review of, 2014. But because of the proximity to Salzburg, I wanted to play a 9-hole round in the morning between viewings. I found a very neat, well located place and without odor with very friendly staff. Only because of some economical signs I have forgiven any 5 star.

Very nice place but unfortunately no joy

It would have to be a nice evening round unfortunately gave us the adjoining wood-processing industry work spoiled the joy of playing.
In 6 of 9 lifts, the air was so bad that was evil is upon us. In addition, the position of the flag was probably not changed longer, which significantly worsened the really good condition of the greens.
All in all, 38 € green fee under these circumstances too much.
Why only 3 stars and a one-time affair.
