Better than expected

Great for a quick, city round of golf. And not packed out like many of the other courses in a fast drive of Vienna.
The New green are hard but fair and play almost identical to the other greens. The 7 new green and tee boxes offer a new perspective to the obvioiusely up and coming courses.
The old holes are a little plain but very playable. Surely to see some changes here to improve the feel of the experience. Hopefully the futur development will offer more modern holes. A great different from last year. Very happy to play again

Wohlfühlplatz

Reception very friendly and uncomplicated. Nice clubhouse.
The place is flat and clear, you can always see what it is and where the traps are. Water and tall old trees sometimes catch the balls. On the second lane you have to hit an island green, but after that it is very forgiving. On the back nine, undulating greens a little more demanding, but all of them were super fast. The entire place is wonderfully well-kept, accompanied by ducks and flowers one draws its circles. In between, the idyll is interrupted by construction noise and planes, it is just a place in the middle of the industrial park, but not far from the city.
The people were funny and nice, overall we felt quite comfortable and will be back. One star is missing, otherwise no increase for the wow places would be possible. All in all a nice day.

A gem

We played the golf course at the beginning of May 2021 and were surprised that despite the location in the middle of an industrial area, there was hardly any noise to be heard. The fairways were very well maintained, the lanes varied and the greens were in really top condition. The staff are very friendly and helpful - an all-round great golf experience!

An oasis...

In the middle of the southern industrial area of Vienna you will find the GCC Brunn and if you pass the entrance gate, you are like in another world. Almost nothing is heard of the city and has 40 ha of golfing landscape in front of him. Despite the 60-70ha for PAR 72 courses, the course design is really good, you never have the feeling of being cramped and some tight spots are more of a challenge than a nuisance. The course care is considerable, of course, a few brown spots as a tribute to the heat on the fairways, but great greens. Overall, the course is not that hard to play, all under HCP 18 are white, so the track adds up to over 5,800m for PAR 70. If you can play fairly well you will score well, if you scatter, you will become pretty fined.
Particularly noteworthy, however, is the "around it": The reception friendly, fast, and it's the little things that delight: You get as a green fee player a pretty trailer for the green fee card and a chip for a whistle beer. Brilliant marketing: this one is almost forced to go to the club restaurant afterwards to consume the whistle - and this is also a particularly positive surprise: very nice atmosphere, lovely staff and really good food at quite moderate prices.
The fifth star is missing only because otherwise no increase would be possible for the leading courses, but Brunn is a really nice golfing experience!

Very nice parkland course

The GC Brunn, a complex with lots of light and a little shade.

To the place:
What can I say. The place is beautifully laid out and varied. What was done here on the limited space is already really good if it sometimes goes a bit tight. The plant was in June despite the heat in very good condition.

To the range:
Yes, what should I say? Actually a good range but new mats and range balls of the plant would really do well. For the short game are sufficient exercise options available.

Miscellaneous:
Overall, a nice facility and nice staff. However, I sometimes had the feeling that one is already there "under it". In addition, it is quite crowded at the weekend and get a start time usually only very early or afternoon. The price for the facility is still OK and good when using the sunset green fee. Restaurant can not be judged.

But I will certainly play again one or the other round in Brunn and I'm looking forward to it :)

Everything good except for the range

The area is neither very long nor otherwise spectacular. But still always worth a round. The greens seem different from the speed. Locals explain that with the different ages of greens Otherwise everything is in good condition. Stop... almost forgotten. The range, if you do not want to refuse from mats, is a bad field. Juicy Wieserl??? None!! Too bad because everything else is fine.
All in all, always worth a visit. See you soon

Super, but a bit pricey

The place is beautiful. A Parkland system with not enough water, some tight but fair. Care very good condition.

The reception in the Secretariat was very friendly, as was the Marshall. We played just under four hours, the Sundays in four Flight kick, which was very fine.

Also clubhouse and Range convince.

Unfortunately, the prices are melting, or I would come more often. The Vienna near halt costs.

Too expensive

For € 75, - to play this course, which has gained safely through the conversion, the scruffy, tough bunker is not justified due. ZumTeil the fairways are a bit confusing and intersect.
Schön is the 2 and 11, this new green is a bit of getting used to and certainly is unique in Austria.

Jewel on the outskirts

I must say I have the last plays well here two years ago. The course has developed excellently, especially the fresh greens.
The Greenkeeping team should understand much of their work, you realize that they are proud of their place, and rightly so.
The greens are very fast, faithful and the new and heavily undulated.
The nursing team is very friendly and considerate. You feel very comfortable here, in the restaurant, I could end your day of golf with good food, excellent service in a relaxed atmosphere.

Finally, it is only to say that the system deserves much more attention. Just the best!!!

Close to the city and nice to play!

Had a few days ago (June 2015) again, the pleasure to play in Brunn. Wonderfully close to the city and into a green oasis! I could see the new holes, I rebuilding very successful and attractive place (though I should have sunk for several balls in pretty much every water hazard). The place was extremely comfortable to play with many challenges. Personally, I can only recommend the place and would love to come back!

Well...

Played in May 2015th basically a very useful course, since this is almost a street circuit (5 min. of Vienna).
It has been attempted in the past to make this course with new greens attractive and more difficult; is also partially succeeded.
However, it seems the secretary not necessarily eager to be to make the green-fee golfers pointed out that even 2 absorbed. Replacement greens or play winter greens and only 17 tracks are playable. no info / no easing... thanks again.
Furthermore you will be foolish of the president of the club angequatscht (in english) without greeting, or even just imagine where you have your golf trolley should provide. he should rather take care of his business...
But the weather was fine.

Input we want to thank for the compliment on the successful renewals in our place.
Your statement that you were not adequately informed the Secretariat on 2 winter greens and fairway locked 9, we categorically reject.
On the homepage and to "golf. at"pointed out the green fee discount for the 2 winter greens and locked fairway 9.
Also, that because of this "Constraint Reduction" no further reductions were granted, was mentioned on the Internet and has been personally communicated at request. And when you check in, our guests were of course the listed discounted rate.
Since May 30 2015, all the agreements for discounts fairways are again regularly and playable again valid.
What we want to say: In our place a signage for the Protection of fresh lawns was erected due to the renovation work.
If each member and each guest green fee would observe these signs and information boards / signs, would also be a "chat up" unnecessarily!

Close to town and easy access

Located just 20 minutes on the motorway from the center of Vienna, the 18-hole course is a fine city course that you can play before or after the office.
Very interesting and challenging course with forming newly created green.
These unique is the terrace of the club restaurants and the excellent gastronomy of the GCC Brunn.
Surely one of the most beautiful courses in Austria.

Absolute near the city center demanding course

There is probably no golf course in the vicinity of Vienna, who could keep up here. Absolutely central location, no matter where you go, but a green, very visually appealing oasis. The conversion is done last fall, has brought remarkable holes that you keep in mind. Two more remodeling phases can still expect a lot. Clearly, one can de facto a street circuit like Brunn not compare with a space moderately unrestricted rate on the country. Not the price, because it is clear that a street circuit due to higher ground lease must be more expensive. Nevertheless, the place never seems crowded. The old bunkers that were of their position in the fairway only an obstacle for weaker players were rightly closed. Now there are some obstacles for good players, the place may have become significantly heavier but fair by the reconstruction, it is really fun to play here. The changing rooms and restrooms are supposedly renewed soon, there has also been slow this time. The cuisine is very much alive, and well priced. The pro shop is small, but offers a lot. All in all a club to not only quickly and easily reached, but where you also like to come again

Rather disappointing

Golf: The renewal of a few holes evaluates the place certainly on (a few more are planned). But overall, a little varied course.

Place Condition: Average. The bunkers are relatively hard. Why fairway bunkers were filled on the first two fairways, is beyond me. The greens on the newly created holes are extremely slowly - the difference to the other makes putting a good score rather impossible.

Other: Rather small driving range and mostly recorded only by Matt markdowns.

Conclusion: For the regular prices that are demanded, the place is simply too little here.

This evaluation can and I will agree in any way.
If it is mentioned here succinctly in the assessment that a few converted holes and a few more are still not making planned, the space varied, it must have been written by a golfer or a golfer that assessment, the manager or those of pure ignorance has written.
To educate and also clearly visible already at the entrance, there is the plan of the entire rebuilding, will be posted in three stages of the entire course redone-all 18 greens and all 18 tee boxes.
With a total of 3 additional new angegten ponds that make it difficult greenside and partially new web guides already seen what this city offers course on diversity.
And the times of bad maintenance condition are long gone, also the GCC Brunn has a sufficient water supply for several years.
That the driving range is only has Matt haircuts also not correct, because the ratio of grass to Matt deductions is 50:50.
The GCC Brunn is certainly one of the most beautiful and interesting city courses in Austria. And I say this with conviction because I have already played at many places in the world.
