Black & White Golf Resort Bratislava is the Slovakian greatest golf resort joining Black River and White Eurovalley golf courses (55 greens). It is the nearest resort to Slovakian capital city - Bratislava, only 20 minutes drive from the city centre (16 km).
Black River golf course (course rating 80, slope rating 155) is the toughest golf course in Europe and it´s a real challenge for experienced golfers. Luxurious golf club house presents a full reconstructed baroque castle named Theresia Chateau, which was originally inhabited by Maria Theresa. Resort is well know for offering 4 different difficulties of golf game, starting with easiest course Park and ending with the toughest golf course in Europe, course Black River. Charming place

In my opinion, the most beautiful golf resort in Slovakia with the charming Theresia Chateau. The resort is located only a few minutes by car from the capital city, Bratislava. Anyone who wants to play in a luxurious environment should come here. It's a good place for beginners and professionals alike.
Golf extravagance – once the famous and most difficult course in Europe

A large, "bombastic" 18-hole course near a renovated castle, within easy reach of Bratislava.
The first 6 holes are short, park-like, and easy to play. The next 12 holes are a golfing challenge (or hell?) – very difficult holes with lots of hazards, often illogical. For me, as a very average golfer, the course makes no sense... but the same was a reaction of some good players. There was also a problem with the maintenance of the course and its markings. But I played here a long time ago, so I can't judge the current quality. It seems that this year, the situation with course maintenance has improved. I cannot judge the quality of the training areas and the restaurant.
In any case, it is an "exceptional" course – you will not find anything similar in Slovakia or the surrounding area. This is also indicated by a warning on the course that 12 holes are only suitable for high-skill golfers.
Great experience

The Black River golf course is tough but great experience to play. Course itself and fairways were in good condition. We enjoyed the design of the course with many water obstacles, but I must say, only for experienced golfers. We were lucky to be accompanied by the marshall, so he gave us tips how to play. This way we thank him too. Club house is beautiful renovated castle. Wide changing rooms, all nice and clean, great restaurant and service. We were also staying in one of the rooms, I felt like princess, it was just great. I can not say nothing else just that we will surly come back again.
