Characteristics
The hilly terrain of the Welser heath gives the course a sportive character. A special challenge pose the eight ponds and the Wyer creek, which has to be played across twice. The many strategically placed bunkers cause an additional increase of the level of difficulty.

Have there in October in the most beautiful weather played a wonderful round, the bright colors of the leaves in contrast to the blue sky was absolutely cheesy. The course (good to walk, I have seen only a few players with e-cart) has it all in itself, it always comes back water into the game and especially the second 9 require some blind blows. The greens were fixed, some are a bit small, which requires precise play, the fairways maintained and the place in good condition. Especially nice are the apple and pear trees on the 8 and 9 (freshly picked and delicious). Less beautiful (but just because of the weather) was the many leaves on the greens and on the FW, under which hid some ball like.
The food after the round was tidy, the clubhouse very modern. Is one of the most beautiful places in Austria (at least according to the book "The Hundred Most Beautiful Golf Courses") and I think that's quite justified.
