Characteristics
Framed by the little stream Adda and wooded hills, the Golf Club Villa Paradiso is situated only 20 minutes away from Milano and Bergamo. The course was designed by Franco Piras and because of its length and the 5 strategically placed lakes it is very difficult to play. Each hole has 5 tees so that not quite as experienced players also get their money's worth. Beginners can train on the 9 executive-holes. With their par 3 they are also interesting for good golfers.

18-hole course in a narrow river valley

The site is surrounded by forest in a narrow river valley. According to the position of the location many water hazards and is rather poor playable after a rainy period. The place has almost no slope and has mostly flat fairways. Paths are often separated by large trees, true high rough is scarce. The place is in a neat condition, ie, bunkers, greens and fairways are in immaculate condition. The signs and length of the tracks are not sufficient and sometimes missing. The tracks are long and the fairways are not too narrow. The difficulty of the course is classified as medium due to the length and the many water hazards.
The clubhouse is modern with a nice terrace, but no view of the fairways.
The driving range is average, but no lawn reductions are possible.
The putting green is clearly too small and was in poor condition.
On the negative is the location of the car park is about 500m above the club house on the hillside. (HCP 16 player)
