Unbedingt meiden October 4, 2011
Ugolino ist ein vernachlässigter Acker, der zu unverschämten Preisen gut vermarktet wird. Das vielgepriesene Toskanafeeling hat sich bei mir
ebenfalls nicht eingestellt. Der Acker liegt in einem Kessel, von lauten Landstraßen umgeben; zu sehen gibt es da nichts.
Wer einen gepflegten, technisch anspruchsvollen Platz zu vernünftigen Preisen und mit weiter Rundumsicht - von manchen Stellen bis nach Volterra - bespielen will, ist auf Castelfalfi besser aufgehoben.

Der GC bietet die ganze Schönheit der Toscana auf 18 Bahnen. Fasane und Gänse, Zypressen und Olivenbäume, traumhafte Aussichten und nicht zu anspruchsvolles Golfen. Sehr hügelig, ein Cart (40 EUR) ist sinnvoll. Die Umkleiden im Stil des frühen 20. Jhdts. sind einen Blick wert. Sehr freundliches Sekretariat.
