Characteristics
The fairways of the golf club neighbour directly on the lovely landscape of the juniper grove of Tietlingen. Since 1979, golf is here played along the lines of "Golfing at the Lönspark". The course is characterised by soft hills, widespread stocks of birch trees and oaks, as well as by numerous pools that were arranged as biotopes. Pleasant course to play at a really good price-performance ratio. The varied holes, which have more of a parkland character, are convincing. The greens had a normal speed for Germany. Only the fairways had suffered in some areas and the tees were uneven in places.

On our return trip from Sweden we planned an overnight stay near the golf course and played a nice round of golf in great weather.
Due to the proximity to the motorway, this is a nice change on a long journey.
The reception in the secretariat was very friendly. Everything was explained well and we received personalized score cards.
The place is very nice with partly narrow fairways, lined with trees.
The fairways are a bit burned, so the balls rolled very far. This is of course due to the long drought. The greens were in great condition.
The railway line described by other reviews did not bother us.
Since we didn't hear or see a train, it has to run very rarely.
Despite games on a Sunday at the best time and nice weather, there was relatively little going on. Also in the restaurant was little going on. Nice service and good food.
Played 18 holes for two for 60 euros on Sunday with the 2 to 1 voucher from Albrecht. That's a fair offer.
The only small drawback that several tracks are monotonous and similar. Since variety such as water hazards and major challenges are missing, there are only 4 stars.

A very beautiful, wooded place - you feel almost alone on the round - mostly the neighboring fairway shimmers through the trees. In general, it is also very quiet - however, a railway line (little traffic - it feels like a train every half hour at most) runs through the square.
The layout is varied and tricky - very long and VERY narrow lanes. Little water and not too many bunkers, and hardly any bad rough. But forest everywhere up to the edge of the fairway. Happy once again to those who master the STRAIGHT game!
The greens are large and fast, so undulating that the breaks are very difficult to assess and, above all, well-maintained! Especially in THE weather (weeks of drought at around 30°) the greenkeepers deserve a big extra praise!
The fairways, on the other hand, didn't survive the extreme weather so well - they were badly burned. However, that could certainly only be improved with an extremely high and presumably highly environmentally harmful maintenance effort and the balls are also playable so well - it's mainly a visual defect. The tees are also a bit "tangled" in places, but work is being done on them, so that two lanes had to be teeed off from the fairway.
The service is positively worth mentioning - very friendly and excellently organized! Personalized score cards were already ready, and the ordered cart (not absolutely necessary, there are only a few longer distances between the lanes) had already been driven up to the secretariat. There were also short important explanations about the course (location and access code of the toilets, return to the clubhouse only after the 14, not after the 9,...), as well as a free "birdie sheet" (map of the course with brief explanations of the tactical procedure at each track). Very professional!
Conclusion: almost 4 stars - because the lanes are so varied, the greens are so well maintained despite the weather and the whole guest treatment is so nice and professional. You just feel good here - gladly again! (In the "Golf Bear Ranking": 7 out of 10 points.)
