C. 340 acres house one of the most beautiful golf courses in Germany - rather a golf park. The majority of the holes was laid out on the palace park from the 19th century featuring gigantic fir trees, spruces, and more than 200-year-old oak trees. With its numerous ponds, streams, and biotopes, Maxlrain Palace is a true natural paradise. While the course is very sophisticated, the 9-hole short course is also suited for beginners.

Very nice round on Easter Saturday

We were on this course for the first time as guests for a round on March 30,2024.
The reservation at short notice the day before was very friendly and uncomplicated.
Even when we registered at the office, they were very friendly and accommodating, and we were also given a birdie book because we didn't know the place yet.
The course is quite challenging, lots of trees and water hazards on almost every hole.
The condition is already very good for this time of year and will definitely be even better in spring, great!
The other players we met were all friendly and nice, very pleasant!
The restaurant probably has a new operator, but we didn't try it this time.
When it gets a little warmer, the terrace is certainly a perfect place to end the day after the round.
In summary: everything was great, we would love to come back!

On a beautiful Sunday morning in July, our flight of four started an EDS round (all with a single handicap). The place was in excellent condition all around.
To be fair, we informed our night flight about the RPR on the first tea box. But instead of wishing good luck or a nice game, the information was greeted with a roll of the eyes and the comment was: Well. This may indeed be something…
And unfortunately, afterwards, the heels were constantly played, arms rowed and heads shaken. Even though we were well ahead of time!
Then they simply crossed the track we had played and loudly complained about us as guests on the terrace.
One of our friends was sitting on the terrace and overheard everything.
Unfortunately, the outstanding service in the secretariat is ruined. The people here were extremely accommodating and friendly. A group photo was even taken.
