Played in 04/24 on the way to southern Bavaria/Austria. Well-maintained course, wide fairways, fairly flat and easy to manage on foot. Not very exciting, a little too easy for me personally. Highlights such as doglegs and water hazards are unfortunately in short supply.

We stopped here on our motorhome trip. The parking space is very quiet and cheap at €7.50 per person including electricity. The lady in the secretariat gave us a friendly welcome and explained everything. The place was in immaculate condition. Wide fairways and fair play.

We made a stop here on a tour with the motorhome (October 2021). The night in the parking lot was wonderfully quiet and is recommended (5, - € per person including tourist tax and electricity).
The course is pleasant to play: the fairways are wide, the difficulty is more in the length. So it is quite possible to play a successful round even with a high handicap and the ball losses are limited. There are many beautiful distant views that make up for the fact that the tracks are not spectacular. Even if it goes up and down a bit on the second nine, we find a cart unnecessary.

In the second 9 holes the Franconian "hills" came into play - but a view "amazing"! The course was very good to play despite the dryness. The greens were fast enough for me - 1 to 3 putts were possible.

Both summers were very dry, which of course left its mark but nevertheless we were positively surprised, that the place was in good condition. Especially the greens were perfect and very good to play. Considering that this region is generally very dry, it is already a feat of greenkeepers that everything is in such a good condition. The course itself has some challenges, which requires good play from strategic players, but is also fair to beginners or weaker players and provides enough fun in the game. But you should not be fooled by the wide fairways, as there are enough obstacles and the tracks also have a certain length. Who can beat long and precise drives, is definitely an advantage here ;-)
The first 9 holes are relatively level and very easy to handle on foot. A cart can help with the second 9 holes as it gets a bit hilly and exhausting. But one is also rewarded with a great view and can enjoy a magnificent panoramic view.
The training facilities are good and a public 6-hole short course completes the positive overall picture.
The service at the registration was courteous and very nice, so that you felt welcome as a guest.
The only downside to our visit this year was the gastronomy. The service was a bit unfriendly and the food okay but nothing special. We had the impression, also on the menu, that the tenants have changed, as we in the last year (2018) still other food in memory. Maybe we just caught a bad day, which can happen again and again.
CONCLUSION: An excellent golf course that is always worth a visit and should be on every list. We will definitely come back (also because of the gastronomy, since everyone deserves a second chance) :-)
