Great golf course

Together with a club member (Handicap 1.9) I (hcp 13.4) the place on 2 +3. May 2013 played twice. Unfortunately, on both days was not great weather. The golf course, a parkland course but forest is overall great, with beautiful old trees, manicured fairways and beautiful scenery.
Challenging course for all skill levels. Only the Greens have suffered from the cold winter and are dull and improved.
All the people were consistently friendly and helpful (reception, clubhouse, club members).
The subsequent meal in the club restaurant was also excellent and is highly recommended.
I look forward to playing this course in the summer in the early morning or evening.

Parkland Challenge

The quiet and flat complex in the middle of the Palatinate has your challenge, as most parking facilities in the country partly narrow fairways. The condition of the greens was 27 April 2012 not the best, but otherwise the maintenance condition was good. The ubiquitous flies were a bit annoying on this warm spring evening. Since we "only" 50, - € green fee paid (discount for hotel guest of the castle Edesheim included), which is OK The lady in the pro shop was nice and the matches on Saturday afternoon was limited. Very well maintained golf course with varied tracks. Especially recommended for excessive heat, as very old trees gives plenty of shade. Only complaint is the high green fees of 60 -. € for guests. All the golf clubs in the area require 50 - €.
