The Golf Club was established in 1986 and counts among the most beautiful golf courses in Hesse. The course extends over several hills of the protected landscape of the Bergstrasse-Odenwald nature park. Situated at an elevation of 1,150 ft, numerous teeing grounds of the diversified course provide a terrific panoramic view. This is where it simply comes down to playing golf!

Tolle Anlage in ruhiger Landschaft July 6, 2011
Der Platz bietet jede Menge Herausforderungen in hügeligem Gelände. Der Pflegezustand ist absolut in Ordnung. Für hohe HC sicher nicht leicht zu spielen. Es empfiehlt sich ein Cart zu nehmen. Es bieten sich herrliche Ausblicke in die Landschaft. Das Greenfee ist angemessen. Wer in der nähe ist sollte eine Runde hier spielen. Die Anreise ist allerdings etwas schwerlich, da keine Autobahn in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Da ich trotz geschaffter Platzreife meine DGV-Card noch nicht hatte, spielte ich am 25.5.11 im GC Odenwald nur den Kurzplatz. Für Anfänger völlig ausreichend zum Üben mit "Schwierigkeitsstufen", da diverse Bäume im hügeligen Gelände immer mitspielen wollen. Sehr schöne Puttinggreens zum Üben, auch der Sandbunker ist durchaus eine Herausforderungen für "Fast-Profis" mit HCP -54 *lach*.
Clubhaus sehr schön, beim "mens-day" war (Servier-) Personal gelegentlich etwas überfordert, aber sehr nett. Karte leicht gekürzt, aber Essen lecker und in einem Top Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Falls ich wieder mal im Odenwald bin (und dann meine DGV-Card habe), werde ich den Platz sicher nochmals spielen.
