Characteristics
Everyone is welcome on our beautiful square in Chiemgau. Tricky designed and with beautifully ingrown trees, it lies in the dreamlike foothills of the Alps. Even the outward journey is fun and offers great panoramas. On your round you will then be playfully challenged and overwhelmed by diverse backdrops and perspectives. After days of rain, we played the course during a break in the rain.
We were the only players on the pitch. We were already informed at the secretariat that the restaurant would most likely be closed when we returned as there were no guests.
After our round we saw the light in the clubhouse and tried the entrance door. Even though it was already locked, an employee opened it for us and we even got something to eat!
Really great service. We were definitely not here for the last time.

That could have been the motto of the round. With Herbert, the oldest active club golfer at the age of 92, we were assigned a great companion.
And madness - Herbert did us so good. Sometimes we tend to move a little too quickly across the squares, try to make monster blows and get angry. Okay, Herbert was annoyed once in a while, but the calm of the group and the looseness of the punches was really an inspiration for us. And we weren't slow - Herbert of course foregoes a cart, otherwise he “doesn't move enough”.
The course is great, every hole is somehow different. Sometimes quite long, always varied. Sometimes there are blind (but fair) holes, sometimes exciting water comes into play (especially the 17 !!). In general, the course is very fair, to play well and anyway in perfect condition like most courses after a wet May. In addition, nice staff, a great terrace in a really nice clubhouse. There are also motorhome parking spaces. So, definitely go there. And greet Herbert, if you are lucky enough to meet him.
