Played all 27 holes on September 7th and 8th in brilliant sunshine. The reception was extremely friendly and you immediately felt welcome.
The entire complex is very well maintained and beautifully integrated into the dune landscape.
The holes are varied and challenging, water often comes into play and lots of bunkers. Many greens are very large, heavily undulating and fast, some par 4s are very long, such as hole 5 on the blue course with 412m or hole 6 on the yellow course with 393m.
The food was good, with a nice terrace and a view of the golf course.
Not only because I managed my first hole-in-one in my “golf career” here, I will have fond memories of the golf course on Föhr.
I have played many golf courses and have rarely given 5 stars in the reviews. For me, the golf course on Föhr is one of the best and deserves 5 stars.

During our vacation on Föhr we were guest players twice on this great place. Beautiful tracks in a beautiful landscape and then also varied 27 holes. The gastronomy is also great, by no means 'excessive', everything is appealingly down-to-earth and friendly.
So why not 5 stars: in our first round, the first 9 green fees were massively sanded and not really playable. Nobody pointed this out to us or even offered a green fee reduction (at least EUR 90 per week). WHAT A SHAME! Even after the round, the criticism in the golf office didn't really get a response - other clubs do it better.
Nevertheless: golf on this course is absolutely worthwhile!

The 3x9 lanes are varied and sophisticated. Management and greenkeeping make an effort and are friendly, but some things seem somewhat improvised. Opening the courses regularly and alternately in the winter season would give the courses more relaxation breaks than playing for just one course for weeks. Playing a mat on the round also takes some getting used to.
