The Golf Course is technically demanding, very interesting to play and is situated in a topographically ideal landscape, which seems friendly. We played this course in early April 2021 and unfortunately it was not what I expected. The fairways are just straight and playfully unimaginative, the fairways were built like on a field between farmers fields. These are also more than just narrow and FOOORE calls could be heard from every corner and on our fairway the flights of the other holes were constantly in the middle of the fairway. Definitely a dangerous undertaking here. There are also dirt roads with pedestrians through the fairway and the walkers cross several lanes, which means you have to wait all the time until you can tee off from the fairway again. Pity!

The course is very short and never worth 18 holes. The driving range is very narrow and the practice area is very limited.
Makes the impression as if you simply squeezed 18 holes into a 9-hole area. If you have 5 par 3 holes and 4 par 4 holes on the 2.9 holes, that says it all.

This place is, in my opinion, the best-kept place in the German-speaking countries of unparalleled. There is not any! What the Greekeeper made from this older facility is just amazing. If others dry out the fairways and the greens can no longer be cut and you then need a driver to putt you can find fairways without weeds; without dried out spots so that the ball sits like on a tee. The greens are quickly cut short and rolled. The same applies to the deductions. Ascona still a very nice garden landscape. This is a Gem and must play!!! Sensational greenkeeping, I wish our club would be so well maintained.
