Characteristics
Already since 1929 golf was played in Davos. The 19 fairways offer a varied game, easier courses alternate with more difficult ones. Tactics and knowledge of the course are withal very in demand. In an altitude of 1.500 m the season is limited to about 5 months. The golf course is situated in the midst of mountains and the highest situated town of Europe.

Aufstieg in eine neue Liga - Davos the heart of alpine Golf July 25, 2011
Seit 2001 wurde erheblich in den Platz investiert; viele Greens wurden erneuert, verlängert, Abschläge erhöht und Fairwaybunker an die neuen Längen angepasst - ein Parkllandschaft pur auf 1560 m.ü.M, mitten in der höchstgelegenen Stadt in den Alpen.
Seit der Golfplatzerweiterung 2009/2010, 8 Golfbahnen wurden von Golfarchitekt Kurt Rossknecht umgestaltet und sogar verlängert.
Damit ist der Golf Davos in eine neue Liga aufgestiegen und in mehrheitlich Flachen Gelände zu einer Golfperle in den Alpen geworden.
