Characteristics
The course was founded in 1912. As the photos on the walls of the club house show, which remind of the glorious past, the members are still proud of that fact. It is a course in a broad low ground, only 100 m above the Lake Garda. The flora with oleander trees, olive groves, agaves and oly cypresses is already mediterranean. You can see the whole lake from different places.

Naja, mir hat der Platz nicht so gut gefallen. Vielleicht lag das aber an meiner Tagesform...!
Mir war der Platz definitiv zu eng. Wenn an jeder zweiten Bahn "FORE!" gerufen wird und man in Deckung gehen muss, kommt einfach kein entspanntes Golfspiel zustande. Besonders die back nine sind ziemlich hingequetscht.
Außerdem wurden gerade die Wege repariert. Es ist nicht wirklich toll, wenn drei Arbeiter fünf Meter neben dem Grün arbeiten und sich gar nicht drum scheren, ob gerade jemand diese Grün anspielen will.
Der Platz ist aber ohne Frage in sehr gutem Pflegezustand und bietet teilweise eine tolle Aussicht auf den See. Schönes Clubhaus mit Pool und sehr freundliches Personal.

Der Platz ist "Klasse". Die Bahnen sind zwar kurz, erfordern jedoch durch die Enge, reichliche Bepflanzung und tlw. erheblichen Höhenunterschiede sehr exates Spiel. Sensationeller Blick auf die Berge und den See, schönes Clubhaus mit gutem Service und Speisen. Durch den alten Baumbestand gibt es auch erholsamen Schatten, dadurch natürlich auch einige Stellen nicht optimal vom Rasenzustand, was den Gesamteindruck aber nicht verschlechtert. Nicht von der 'verwilderten' Zufahrt (ab SS45) abhalten lassen, der Golftag dort (Preis/Leistung) lohnt sich.
