The golf course is situated in the beautiful nature reserve of the Upper Neckar Valley, in immediate vicinity to the picturesque town Sulzau. The protected landscape is here more than just scenery. It was integrated into the course and offers very special impressions, especially because of the Neckar River, which the fairways cross more than once.

We played in the sunshine in mid-October and even for free thanks to the Schwarzwaldplus card, an incredibly worthwhile offer! The reception was very nice, we were made aware that a green was closed due to damage from game. An exciting place, especially if you play it for the first time. At the beginning with repeated inclines and many meters of altitude that you have to overcome, then again flat courses on the Neckar with a lot of water, you can't risk too much. The condition of the courses and greens were impeccable. Unfortunately, the restaurants are closed on Mondays, but we would have liked to have used them. A course that is worth playing, very nice club secretariat, we will definitely come back!!

A decent distance has to be covered on foot and altitude has to be overcome.
The course is not that long - averaging 330 meters per hole - but the uphill, downhill and sloping terrain presents or creates difficulties. Fairway bunkers are few - hardly ever in play - but lateral or frontal water can spoil the score.
Knowledge of space is a huge advantage, especially on the front nine. Some balls didn't feel like further shots anymore...
Well-maintained facility with very good greens, some of which are difficult, and nice staff.
We are here for the second time, played the first round in 2014.
We are not good enough for five stars, there is a lot missing - everyone was for three stars - because compared to Stuttgart Solitude and Domäne Niederreutin five stars would be too high a rating.
