Characteristics
This generously dimensioned golf course was built in the middle of the Gailtal valley, close to the borough Waidegg. Spreading over 70 hectares, it is suitable for all handicaps. In 2008 a 6-hole training course (par 3), a pitching and chipping area, a 270 m long driving range and a putting green have been opened. In 2009, an additional 18-hole course has been added. The wide and mostly even fairways and greens will make it possible for everyone to achieve a good score. The island green at the 7th is considered a special challenge.

Gailtal- glorious. August 15, 2011
Gary Player opened this course and I wonder if he designed it. Brilliant lay-out, very clever holes with sensible bunker placement. My only criticism is the quality of the sand. So, I kept out of the bunkers and had the most enjoyable round ever(almost).
