World traveller from the the UK single figure golfer.
Exceptional practice facilities included.
Viewed on Saturday afternoon when it was quiet.
Played on Montague on a Sunday afternoon which was a little congested. However, marshalls were on hand to help with call through.
There were skilfull challenges on many hole with an option to bail out if wanted especially on par 3s.
Well worth the money, scored 80 = 36 points.

The Links- simply incredible:
Building a course like this in the landscape is simply incredible. What was moved and planted here, how much money it took to build this incredible course is simply unimaginable. The layout, the maintenance of the grounds with its carpet fairways and the sensational greens are also unimaginably beautiful. Extremely fast, undulating and very difficult to calculate.
Because of the difficulties and the very strong wind, this place stressed us quite a bit, so the score was accordingly. Space from the back 6,930 m (!!) long, from the third men's tee still 5,721 m and still too heavy!

After a break of over 10 years we are here again, in 2001 for the first time.
The resort is some of the best you can experience in South Africa, with three top golf courses that are among the best. All three have been in the top 30 for many years. In 2002 there was also the 10 holes course Brambel Hill, on the site of which the KIngswood Estate is partly at home.
Gary Player - the man in black - sharpened the pencil for these courses and did a very good job.
If our notes are correct, the Montagu is the oldest part of the golf course, which consisted of 27 holes and was built in the early 1990s and expanded to 36 holes in the same decade.
Brambel HIll had an extremely short half-life that we played in 2003.
Now we realize that intensive work was done on these courses - but especially on Montagu - we do not recognize a number of holes. New greens were built, some new teas and some design changes were implemented.
The Montagu is much more difficult today than before the renovation, according to our judgment.
Both courses are a pleasure to play.
The left - the very special one - is simply insane. If you consider that for its construction tens of thousands of truckloads of material had to be carted and that for two years to build a golf course from the former airfield...

There are only 246 real links in the world - but this comes very close to them.
