a forgiving course

the forgiving course is placed in a slightly rolling landscape. a bit up and down. not very difficult to play. the fairways are good and wide, on both sides with pine-trees.
playing this course the first time is fine, but after 10 times, i would be bored.
negative are the sand bunkers. they feel like concret pads with 1-2 cm of sand above.
that makes bunkershots unpredictable. with better bunkers the rating would be 3,5*.
reception is very friendly and we had a deecent lunch in the club house.
all in all, it's good value for the money.

Campo de Meis Pontevedra

Beautiful course, very well maintained. Course is very long, worth hiring a buggy if your a first-timer. There's a few water hazards to test you plus stay out of the trees! On site there's an excellent driving range, very cheap, 1Euro per bucket. The views are fantastic and even better from the clubhouse. Downside is the winter greens but other than that this is by far and away the best course i've ever played.

There are always the surprises!

A great pastime for a holiday! Despite the very dry summer, the tees and greens are in very good condition!
On the fairways are a few dry spots, but this is absolutely to be forgotten. Very nice and attentive ladies both in the secretariat and in the clubrestaurant. The place is park-like, the holes lie on a plateau, but can be run without problems. The holes lined with very many pines are never unfair, some have spectacular views! It is very often worth to look backwards at the tee-off. Especially on the train 17!! And to top it all, the green fee is affordable!! In any case, the place is worth a visit!
