Let down by the 'fairways'.

Visited Meyrick Park as part of a trip organised by Golf Breaks in mid June 2019 Unfortunately we found the fairways to be in very poor condition, scrubby with so little grass cover we were obliged to seek preferential lies.. Bunkers were very stony and there were few yardage markers, many of the ball washers were broken.
The greens were much better and appeared well looked after.
The clubhouse is modern and has a well equipped gym and spa attached, however because of the overall condition of the course we won't be returning any time soon.

My home course

This is my first year here. The course is very hilly and for high handicappers very demanding. Once you can drive straight and over 225 yards it becomes a relatively easy course. Clubhouse is a disaster but the pro shop makes up for it.
