Interesting and good Greens

My second choice beside Samamah, interesting layout, can be quite tough from back tees. When visiting it was a bit packed, so it took a bit longer to get around. But what complaning when on a vacation? Go and play. But od not expect a perfect environment, this is a huge complex which still is under construction. Service was a a cool which was uncommon to Marrakesh.

Nice place with fast greens

We played this course twice. On the first day from the yellow teas, the second time from the white teas. If you have a decent basic length, you hardly notice it. The course is extremely forgiving and unless you hit the water, you can hardly lose any balls. It is not always easy to attack the flag, as the greens are sometimes well defended by bunkers (which could use a little more sand) and they are also very hard. The ball can sometimes run off the green if you had a longer club for the approach. Unfortunately, the huge, very geometrically designed pond on the front nine has no water and won't have it any time soon because the liner is completely broken. You can then see what it should look like on the back nine. One of the most beautiful holes I have ever played is the 18th, the final par 5. After a good drive, you can attack the green with the second shot. But be careful: to the right of the green there is a long water hazard and there is also a moat about 50m in front of the green. All in all, a not too difficult place to start in Marrakech with great, lightning-fast greens. The clubhouse is very nice. You just need to have some patience. The staff was extremely friendly everywhere.

Good start

A pleasant place to get started with golf in Morocco. Reservation and additional buggy without any problems. The staff is very friendly and they insisted on cleaning our clubs after the round.
The greens were good but still took some getting used to, you had to get used to 3-putts at times.
Fairways wide and almost no rough. Only the unfilled water hazards on the first 9 were not nice to look at. Poor maintenance and torn foil in the pools prevented them from being filled with water.
The mountains in the background were of course a visual highlight.
All in all a pleasant golf experience.
