Australia's Andre Stolz is seeking a second OneAsia title of the season at this week's Charity High1 Resort Open, as he continues to banish the memory of a career-threatening injury.

The 41-year-old is revelling in a return to the professional ranks after an injury-enforced absence of nearly three years and is determined to follow up his victory at the season-opening Indonesia PGA Championship.

Stolz, who has won $250,000 so far this season, finished ninth at the SK Telecom Open before missing out on the four-way play-off at the Nanshan China Masters at the start of June by a single shot.

A strong showing this week will propel him back to the top of the OneAsia Order of Merit and Stolz is confident form and fortune are finally on his side.

"I am really happy with my game right now, but I was a little disappointed with not winning the Nanshan China Masters," said the former US PGA Tour winner, who has claimed eight titles worldwide since turning professional in 1992.

"I felt I played good enough to win, but missed several important putts during the week and that's the difference between fifth and winning."

After being sidelined with injury in 2005 he rejoined the PGA Tour of Australasia in 2008.

A one shot victory at the Indonesia PGA Championship in March announced his return to top level golf, reminding the sport why he was once rated as one of Australia's finest players.

"My only real goal every week is to try and play myself into contention for the final round and give myself a chance of winning," he added.

"I am really happy with my new driver and how far it goes. It has given me the confidence that if I play well and things go my way, I can still win anywhere in the world."

Another player looking to turn solid form into a return to the winner's circle is big-hitting Korean Kim Dae-hyun, who finished fifth at the Dongbu Promi Open at the end of June.

Kim last tasted victory at the 2010 GS Caltex Maekyung Open Golf Championship and this season has the 23-year-old has also finished in the top ten five times.

"I feel very positive going into this week after playing well in my last event. I am happy with the way I am playing and I am happy with my scores," he said.

Dongbu Promi Open winner Kang Kyung-nam is also in the field and Hideto Tanihara headlines a strong Japanese contingent looking to become the first OneAsia winner from their nation this week.
