South Africa's Louis Oosthuizen won his first European Tour title on Sunday when he captured the Andalucia Open by three shots.
The victory also ensured a place at The Masters for the 27-year-old whose previous best performances on the European Tour had been four runners-up spots.
Oosthuizen carded a final round of 67 to finish three shots clear on 17 under par with his victory coming just a week after he finished runner-up to Welshman Rhys Davies in Morocco.
English duo Richard Finch and Peter Whiteford shared second spot on 14 under, two clear of Francesco Molinari and Robert Coles.
"I was quite nervous down the stretch and very nervous on the 18th tee so I just decided to hit it as hard as I could," said Oosthuizen.
"Now I want to stay in the top 50 and be competitive every time I play."
After three birdies in his first five Oosthuizen had opened the gap, but a three putt bogey at the 409-yard seventh gave the chasing pack hope.
Whiteford carded five birdies in eight holes around the turn but his hopes of moving within one shot faltered at the 15th when he three-putted for bogey.
