It had been a dream when I visited the then Four Seasons last year but with the new managment under Intercontinental it seems that this dream is experiencing a hard landing. Several things are absolutely not in order and do not give the value for money:
1) A marshall annoyed us at least 3 times to play ahead faster, the first time on h 8 when we (a flight of 3) were already a minute ahead of play. he came back on 9 where we were 5 minutes ahead to be 20 minutes ahead on hole 18
2) A lot of work on the course wrt bunkers to be refilled with new sand but workers being rather rude by just rolling onto the fairway with lorrys while we played, lots of construction around the course. The fairways and greens are not to well maintained.
3) The 19th hole service is mainly not existing, it takes a lot of patience to be serviced.
Overall not to be recommended, save your money for another one of the magnificent courses elsewhere in Dubai.
